Capture is Elements of Chemistry part three and book #3 in the Hypothesis Series, I was gifted an ARC of this book to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.
I don’t normally give a star rating till the end of my review but sod it Capture totally gets 5 stars from me.
This book is brilliantly awkward and cringe worthy!!?!
I love Kaitlyn she’s quirky and just a bit downright strange, but I think the odder she gets the more I like her!!
At one point I was actually shouting at my kindle, she misses things that are so blatantly obvious to everyone else!!?
Martin is stoic and dry, right up to the point where he explodes and all his emotions spill out!!!
I’ve actually come to the conclusion that he’s as awkward around Kaitlyn as she is around him!!! How that’s possible for such a confident guy I have no idea but it just makes me adore him sooooo much.
From start to finish this book caused a massive smile on my face. It doesn’t matter what these characters do or say I just adore them.
I really hope this isn’t the last we see of Martin and Kaitlyn, I’ve loved watching them grow and change into adults,
This series worked on every level it’s funny and at times silly, but then there is this quiet, beautiful love story that shines so brightly.
Penny Reid has managed to take two unpleasant, strange characters and make a fairytale.
Capture gets a brilliant 5 stars from me.
About Penny Reid
SEX! It all started with sex, between my parents. Personally I don’t like thinking about it, but whatever works for you is a-ok with me. No judgment. The sex happened in California and much of my life also occurred in that state until I moved from the land of nuts (almonds), wine, silicon… boobs, and heavy traffic to the southeast US. Like most writers I like to write, but let’s get back to sex. Eventually I married and gave birth to 2 small people-children (boy-6, girl-4 as of this writing).
By day I’m a biomedical researcher with focus on rare diseases. By night I’m a knitter, sewer, lino block carver, fabric printer, soap maker, and general crafter. By the wee hours of the morning or when I’m intoxicated I love to listen to the voices in my head and let them tell me stories. I hope you enjoy their stories.
