Katy knows the world changed the night the Luxen came.
She can’t believe Daemon welcomed his race or stood by as his kind threatened to obliterate every last human and hybrid on Earth. But the lines between good and bad have blurred, and love has become an emotion that could destroy her—could destroy them all.
Daemon will do anything to save those he loves, even if it means betrayal.
They must team with an unlikely enemy if there is any chance of surviving the invasion. But when it quickly becomes impossible to tell friend from foe, and the world is crumbling around them, they may lose everything— even what they cherish most—to ensure the survival of their friends…and mankind.
War has come to Earth. And no matter the outcome, the future will never be the same for those left standing.
Opposition is the 5th and final book in the Lux series, I read the rest of the series shortly before the last book came out I can’t believe it’s taken me till now to be able to get round to reading it!!
I really don’t read enough paranormal books; I need to change that because I really enjoyed this series. I think I get bogged down in contemporary romances that I forget how brilliant the escapism is with a fantasy world.
And oh what a fantasy this series is, who knew aliens could be sexy?? Well Daemon he’s most definitely an alien and he’s most definitely sexy!
I got totally engrossed into Kat and Daemons world and I loved every minute of this action packed story. This book is full of ups and downs but even the quiet moments between Kat and Daemon were still beautiful moving.
Right from the first word this book has you on the edge of your seat, and the tension and drama only builds and builds there is literally never a dull moment!!!
This author writes good chemistry and Kat and Daemon have this all consuming love thing that flows from them. Even in the height of battle their intimate moments overshadow the blood and fighting!!
This book needed more Luc he’s hilarious and I would have welcomed more of his sarcastic banter.
I’m so glad that Nancy got what was coming to her!! She deserved it all and more!
After all the build up the way it ends seems a little anticlimactic, I mean I understand why it happened that way I just would have loved a bit more of a battle scene.
Above all this series is love story and boy did I feel the love. Move over Romeo and Juliet there’s s new couple in town lol!!
I really enjoyed this book; Opposition gets 4 stars from me.
