Take a Chance by Micalea Smeltzer
Willow Creek #4
Married with a baby on the way I stupidly believed that things were perfect.
But then the good guy I fell in love with turned out to not be as good as I thought.
I was left alone to pick up the pieces of my life and provide for my daughter.
And then I met him.
The bad boy that just might not be so bad.
Three years after her husband walked out on her Arden James is struggling to make ends meet as a single mom. Despite it all, she knows she’s better off with her ex out of the picture, and so is her daughter.
Josh Hayes—player, jokester, and very naughty boy—is the guitar player for the band Willow Creek. He’s used to living the fast life, but suddenly it doesn’t appeal to him anymore, and he has his sights set on the fiery Arden.
Despite their undeniable chemistry, Arden isn’t sure she wants to invite a man into her life that has never been in a committed relationship before. But Hayes is determined to prove to her that there’s more to him than meets the eye. He just needs Arden to take a chance.
Take A Chance is book #4 in the willow creek series by Micalea Smelter, I was lucky enough to be gifted an ARC of the book to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.
I’ve read and enjoyed the other 3 books in this series but there’s always the thought of how will Micalea make this book different.
Well I should really have known the reason because it’s Hayes that makes it different!!!
All of the guys in this series are genuinely nice guys but its official Hayes is my absolute favourite!!!
Arden is not my favourite female character in thus series but who cares HAYES, HAYES, HAYES!!!!
This is a really lovely book, Hayes is the perfect example of a real gentleman he is so thoughtful and adorable.
And basically I want to steal him!!!!!
Todd was a really interesting twist and it’s always good to have a bad guy to hate!!!
This story was over far too quick and I really hope it isn’t the end of the Willow Creek series.
This and the other books in the series are all great, fun NA novels and I’ve really enjoyed them.
Take A Chance gets 4 stars from me.
