Storm MC

Storm MC #1

Life can be a bitch but love can get you through any storm.

Madison Cole’s family is the Storm Motorcycle Club. Her father is the President and her brother is the VP. She grew up surrounded by bikers, crime and violence. Two years ago she walked away from her family and the world they live in. Her soul was shattered, her heart was broken and she had an addiction she couldn’t shake. She picked up the pieces and put herself back together. Now her family wants her back. The club is being threatened and they send a club member to return her home to safety; the one person that could destroy everything she has worked so hard to build.

Jason Reilly has sacrificed a lot for the motorcycle club he calls family. Two years ago he made the biggest sacrifice of all; he gave up the woman he loved for them. Now he is being sent to bring her back and he is conflicted. He thought he was over her but discovers their connection is as strong as ever. Their love was all-consuming, passionate and fiery. It was also their undoing and he doesn’t know if either of them is strong enough to battle the demons that ripped them apart, to find love again.

Madison and Jason are brought back together by a force out of their control; one that pushes them to a breaking point. Can they overcome their past and discover a love worth fighting for or will the harsh reality of their world finally and completely break them both?

Storm is book #1 in the storm MC and the first book I have read by this author.

I love biker books they are like cat nip to me. The bossier and alpha the men the better so yeah J totally did it for me.

I’m not really sure how I feel about Madison, obviously she has issues but her character was just a bit backwards and forwards for me. She didn’t really fight against J that hard in fact she basically just threw herself at him.

I don’t think I like Madison, I couldn’t really tell you why I don’t but I just couldn’t find anything likeable about her.

Now J I like, again the guy does make me swoon a little so it could totally just be that he’s sexy.

The plot is a little weird though, the drama happens at the start and then again at the end but for the rest of the time j and Madison just have the same argument again and again.

I was really hoping for a more intense, dramatic story and it had periods of greatness but for me they just didn’t last long enough.

I think I had really built this book up in my head so I’m sad to say I was a little disappointed.

I loved the spark between J and Madison but most of the rest of the plot just felt a little lacklustre.

Storm gets 3 stars from me.

Storm MC #2

She’s everything he’s never wanted. He’s everything she’s never known.

Scott Cole is a force to be reckoned with. As Vice President of the Storm Motorcycle Club he carries out his duties with a ruthless determination. He moves through life with a clear agenda – protect his club and his family at all costs.

He is intense.

He is loyal.

He is fierce.

He doesn’t give his love easily, but when he does, he loves fiercely. Settling down, however, has never been part of his plan.

Harlow James is a country girl who has never met a biker in her life. She is also done with men. In her experience all they ever do is lie, cheat or steal. When she meets Scott Cole she knows he is heartbreak on legs.

He is confident.

He is sexy.

He is bossy.

She knows she must fight her growing attraction to this complex man in order to guard her heart. When his world crashes into hers and danger comes calling, Scott’s fierce desire to protect kicks in and Harlow realises that she might just have found a man worth taking a risk on.

Fierce is book #2 in the storm mc series, I was lucky enough to be gifted a copy of the book to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.

I read Storm and was a little underwhelmed; J just wasn’t alpha enough for me.

Well move over J there’s a much better alpha in town.

Scott is alpha through and through and I LOVED him!!

This book totally worked for me.

Harlow was a strong sassy woman who didn’t take any shit and that was such a breath of fresh air from all the doormats you see in romances these days.

She and Scott had a banter that was funny and yet sexy as hell!!!

Scott just oozed bossiness and he has an edge of darkness that just made him even more appealing

I do feel like the drama could have been drawn out a little longer as it was so short it was basically a flash in the pan!!!

Its official though I need Blade to get his own book he’s freaking amaze balls!!!

I really enjoyed fierce it had a much darker element that I love in an MC book

Fierce gets 4 stars from me.

Storm MC #2.5

Forever is a long time and takes a lot of hard work.

For twelve years, Madison and J’s love story has been wild and uncontrollable. Their road to love has been full of breathtaking highs and devastating lows. Finally, they’ve found each other again and have both sworn that this time it will be forever.

Theirs is an everlasting love.

Or, is it?

Can forever be an impossible dream when two people are as headstrong as these two? Or will the deep love they have for each other win out and give them the forever they’ve fought hard for?

Blaze is book #2.5 in the Storm MC series, I was lucky enough to be gifted a copy of this book to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.

This is a novella about J and Madison and after reading Fierce I’d almost forgotten how much hard work this couple are!!!

I am impressed at how the author has used this novella to fill in the blanks and allow the reader to get the back story for book #3.

Typically I’m not a fan of novellas but I don’t mind them if like in this case they serve a purpose!!!

Again I come out of this story desperate for Blade and Nash’s books, I’m not even sure I’d they have already been written but I really hope so!!

This novella is short, sweet and a tad angsty but I’m all about the storm MC at the moment so this story worked for me.

Blaze gets 3 stars from me.

Storm MC #3

Revive by nine levied

Blurb – He doesn’t do relationships. Neither does she. But they can’t fight the attraction any longer…

Nash Walker hides the demons that consume his soul. He buries them deep and distracts himself with sex. Anything to avoid facing a past full of heartbreak and regret; anything to numb the pain that he struggles with daily.

Velvet Carr has spent years fighting her demons. It’s a fight she’s winning. That is, until Nash crashes his way into her life and into her heart.

It started out as a bit of harmless fun between friends; it wasn’t meant to get complicated for either of them. But when two broken souls come together and arouse unwanted feelings in each other, complicated is what happens.

Can Nash and Velvet help heal each other and revive the love in their lives that they’ve both been refusing to allow in for years? Or will they let their demons ruin any chance they may have at happiness?

Revive is book #3 in the storm mc series, I was lucky enough to be gifted a copy of the book to read for Gemma reads too much.

I have been waiting for Nash’s book but I honestly thought it might be Serena to bring him to his knees not Velvet!

Honestly I was a little disappointed when I realised that the sassy and mouthy Serena wasn’t going to be bantering with Nash. I struggled thinking oh god I hope Velvet isn’t one of those teary overly emotional girls who need rescuing.

I needn’t have worried, Velvet is a kick ass girl who flirts and banters but is also a genuinely nice person to boot.

I adored Nash before this book but I LOVE him now!!!

Fun manwhore Nash is sexy as hell but when you add in some depth and a broken soul and I’m smitten!!!

Instead of revive I think this book should have been called Cock because I think the word was used at least once every sentence lol

Griff….. How could you!!! Does anyone think maybe he didn’t and this is all a ploy???

This is the first MC book I have read where there has been discontent in the club. I can’t wait to see how this plays out.

I really enjoyed Revive it gets 4 stars from me.

Slay is book #4 in the storm MC Series, I was lucky enough to be gifted a copy of the book to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.

Slay is Blades book and right off the bat I’m just gonna get it out….

This book is just as good as you hoped it would be!!!!

Blade is an incredibly complex character and even though this book explains and explores his character to a certain degree he’s still a complete enigma.

I LOVED his alpha take charge attitude!!! Layla admits she likes it when he’s bossy… . Well hunny so do I!!!

I found Layla a little odd but I still liked her for Blade!

I think this book has the hottest sex of all the books in this series.

Blades story is also the darkest and I really enjoyed the added grit and violence.

Griff…. I totally had faith in you!!!!

Whilst I have enjoyed the romance elements of this series, it seems such a shame that the MC is going to crap.

I don’t want to give anything away but good riddance!!!

I really enjoyed this book it’s the best in the series so far and gets 4.5 stars from me.
