Callie & Kayden

The resolution of Callie and KaydenThings are well for Callie & Kayden. They’re still dealing with their past and the pain connected to it, but for the most part they’ve moved on. The biggest decision they have at the moment is what they want to do with their lives in the future.

Eventually, though, the past catches up with them and they’re left facing tough choices. But Callie and Kayden learn that as long as they have each other, they can make it through just about anything. And in the end, they discover what they really want out of life

Review 4 Stars

The Resolution of Callie and Kayden is book #6 in The Coincidence Series, I really enjoy this authors books but I feel like I have to mentally prepare myself to read them. They tend to create a real maelstrom of emotions in me and there definitely not light, easy breezy reads.

Today my hormonal brain told me was a good day to tackle Callie and Kayden’s final book; I braced myself for some awful, life altering catastrophe swooping in to damage these already broken and fragile young couple.

But instead what I got was a beautiful, sweet dose of closure and resolution!!!

I wasn’t expecting it and I think that made it just that bit nicer and that bit more poignant. Of all of Jessica Sorensen’s characters I think I became most attached to Callie and Kayden because they honestly seemed to have suffered far too much for such young people.

I don’t think I feel sorry for them; I just want them to find the light at the end of the tunnel.

And this book draws them a map with a great big X marking the light!!!

Callie and Kayden are obviously very much in love, but it still feels very tentative and shy, now this book may not give me a much needed guaranteed happily ever after but it definitely gives a happy ending and serious amount of hope for the future.

Can I just say that the Truthful Fairytale had me welling up!!!! It’s so simple but it just got to me!!!

I really loved this book, it was essentially a very long epilogue for these characters and it made me very happy that these young kids that have suffered finally found their hope.

The Resolution of Callie and Kayden gets 4 stars from me.
