Roots and Wings by M. Mabie
City Limits #1
No billionaires. No professional athletes. No celebrities.
In this small town, current events are pondered in mirrors at the local salon or around crowded tables at the diner, and there’s a new couple to gossip about. A rough and tumble woman who works in her dad’s garage, not yet ready to spread her wings, shows the new guy in town what it’s like to finally have roots.
It’s your run-of-the-mill, sexy, Astro van driving dentist meets smart-ass, bass fishing tomboy in a story of real-life romance.
Low on drama. High on love.
Pull up a chair and stay a while.

Roots and wings is book #1 in the City Limits Series. I was gifted an ARC of this book to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.
This book is sold as low on drama big on romance and well that’s EXACTLY what it is.
Tomboy Mutt … yes I kid you not they call this poor girl Mutt as in a dog!!!!!!!
Well she meets the new guy in a very small town and they fall in love that is literally it.
This is an incredibly sweet story but honestly for me it was just a bit too nice.
He was nice, she was nice, her family and friends were nice it was just so incredibly NICE!!
This is the perfect pallet cleanser after reading a super gritty angst book and there’s nothing wrong with that it just didn’t rock my world.
If you’re looking for an incredibly sweet, uncomplicated romance then this is the one for you.
Roots and wings gets 3.5 very nice stars
