The Wall of Winnipeg and Me
by Mariana Zapata
Vanessa Mazur knows she’s doing the right thing. She shouldn’t feel bad for quitting. Being an assistant/housekeeper/fairy godmother to the top defensive end in the National Football Organization was always supposed to be temporary. She has plans and none of them include washing extra-large underwear longer than necessary.
But when Aiden Graves shows up at her door wanting her to come back, she’s beyond shocked.
For two years, the man known as The Wall of Winnipeg couldn’t find it in him to tell her good morning or congratulate her on her birthday. Now? He’s asking for the unthinkable.
What do you say to the man who is used to getting everything he wants?
God I loved this book!!!
This book is the ultimate slow burn, romance at its very best because it snook up on me and them!
I loved Aiden so stoic and hard and yet a massive teddy bear underneath he literally made my heart melt and I adored him!!
This is a true romance everytime Vanessa got a smile out of Aiden I fell just a bit more in love with this couple. I loved the care he showed for her even before they became friends the gestures he offered were pricelessly sweet.
Vanessa was brilliant, she was snarky and funny and I was laughing at all of her sarcastic barbs. I loved her care free attitude to Aidans wealth and fame she really couldn’t have given a crap and this whole book had a no nonsense feel to it.
As a couple Aidan and Vanessa just worked, they bounced off one another and even though they didn’t have that much banter the conversations they did share were either heartbreakingly sweet or sarcastically funny.
I want to be team Graves too!!! The way they supported each other and were really there for the other when they needed it was just perfect.
Aidan slipped into his alpha male roll perfectly and god that only made him sexier.
This book just worked for me, I loved them individually, I loved Zac and I loved them together.
The Wall of Winnipeg and Me gets 5 stars from me.
